Totally Engrossing
This is an extremely well produced podcast. Even if you think you have no interest in the Supreme Court, you will like it. One thing though- the first episode- I thought it was somewhat biased against capital punishment. I am also against capital punishment, but I think the producers should challenge themselves to keep the presentations quite fair and balanced. I would love to see a much more civil, thoughtful, and intelligent approach to the appointment of Supreme Court justices than the process we are witnessing today. This podcast has the power to educate thousands of people to help stop the insanity! My humble opinion is that taking such obviously "lefty" biases toward topics like capital punishment will impede the said educational power of this excellent podcast by limiting the range of listeners' political persuasions. This would be a shame. Lastly, the second episode on the import of Tennessee legal redistricting in the courts was phenomenal. I was blown away by how totally engaging it was, and also by what I learned. I can't wait for more episodes!Read full review »

in every way. Typically flawless Radiolab production values, a slightly different pace without Robert Krulwich, subject matter that could easily disappear into a thicket of wonk made not simply accessible but downright enjoyable. Thanks to Jad and Suzie and everybody involved.

So far so good! This is exactly the kind of podcast I love! If you like crime and history podcasts this is a nice mix of both!
