RadioWest has been important to me since I moved to Utah because it portrays a voice from Utah that many of us yearn for. There's a sensitivity to the predominant culture, but Doug isn't afraid to ask the tougher questions. (Or Dreamy Doug as one friend calls him). The beauty of podcasts is that I can go back and listen to certain programs again and again like his "Facing East" interview with Carol Lynn Pearson, or his interview with Karen Armstrong. I'm certainly proud to have this program as a part of my community.Read full review »

I’m not even from Utah and I love this podcast. I’ve read a few books after hearing the authors speak. It’s a great podcast!

How do they produce such wonderful and thoughtful shows across such a diverse range of topics-- every single day?? One of the best and locally produced in SLC, Utah.
