Well detailed and not a story I’d heard before
I listen to a lot of true crime, and a fair amount of true crime out of Texas. I was surprised to find a story relatively “recent” that I hadn’t heard covered by another Podcaster. I appreciated the research and the participation of people involved. I will say that the bonus episodes from the producer I could’ve completely done without. I even skipped one or two of them. I’m not sure what production experience he has, but his interview technique came across as kind of amateur. 😬 His tone lacked confidence and his questions weren’t delivered with the type of storytelling skill shown by someone “in the business”.

More reviews of Ransom
For all the crime podcasts I listen to every week, I had never heard this story. It was well researched, developed, narrated and executed. Each episode leaves you wanting to know what happens next. Just an awful and unbelievable story.

This podcast is a gripping story that moves! From the first audio of the 9-1-1 call right through episode 2. I am hooked! Can’t wait for more.

This is a great podcast. The story about a kidnapping is a crazy one I have never heard of. The reporting is very thorough and there are great interviews.
