WCW's first hour features NO wrestling matches, the company decided to focus more on Ric Flair's relationship with his son instead of showing in-ring action. On Raw, Mankind vs Stone Cold Steve Austin gets booked by Vince McMahon. The New Age Outlaws reunite to take on Bob Holly & Al Snow, and The Undertaker promises to sacrifice the Big Boss Man.

This week on Raw is War, Vince McMahon books a Kane vs Steve Austin main event. The Undertaker wrestles Mankind (if Mankind wins, he earns the right to be the 2nd referee in the WrestleMania main event) and The Rock defends the WWF Title against Road Dogg. Rumors going around in WCW indicate Ric Flair is going to announce his retirement on Nitro. The nWo Elite continue to mess the Black and White around, and Bret Hart wrestles Chris Benoit in the match of the week.

It's the night after St Valentine's Day Massacre and Paul Wight is ready to show up on Raw is War. The Rock gets another shot at Mankind's WWF title, Billy Gunn gets a shot at the IC title, and The Ministry of Darkness send a message to Vince McMahon. On WCW Nitro Ric Flair's limosuine ride reaches a brutal destination, the Tag Team Tournament continues with Benoit and Malenko wrestling 2 matches, and Bret Hart takes on his new arch nemesis Will Sasso.

Raw takes place on Saturday this week, so WCW have an unopposed Monday Night for Nitro. Ric Flair makes Bret Hart defend the US Title on Nitro against a pro-wrestling legend, Eric Bischoff gets a new work assignment, and The Outsiders main event the show. WWF Raw is War comes from the Toronto Skydome, and Stone Cold Steve Austin main events the record breaking episode in a gauntlet match against The Corporation.

This week on Raw Vince McMahon goes down to Texas looking for Steve Austin, The Ministry gets a few new members, and Triple H takes on Kane inside a Steel Cage. On Nitro Ric Flair has a new assignment for Eric Bischoff, Konnan & Mysterio issue a challenge to Lex & Nash, and a US Title number 1 contender match headlines the show.

Vince McMahon won the 1999 Royal Rumble but he will not be facing the WWF Champion at WrestleMania. We find out who's going to challenge for the title this week on Raw. On Nitro Bret Hart cuts his famous El Dandy Promo while Chuck Norris and Jean Claude Van Damme get in the ring to celebrate with Bill Goldberg.

On Nitro Eric Bischoff has an oppurtunity to win WCW back when he faces David Flair in a one on one match, the nWo stop a tag title tournament match, and the show gets headlined with a Bam Bam Bigelow vs Goldberg vs Scott Hall triple threat match. The WWF make final preparations for their 1999 Royal Rumble PPV. Stone Cold Steve Austin opens the show with a promo, and the show ends with Corporate Kane vs The Corporate Champion.

Vince McMahon gives The Rock another chance to enter the Deadly Game tournament at Survivor Series, but if Rocky loses he's out of the WWF for good. Stone Cold Steve Austin gets ready to face the Big Boss Man later in the week, and X-Pac gets an unwelcome surprise when he faces The Undertaker. On Nitro the commentators say the President of the United States is on his way to the arena. Chris Jericho challenges Goldberg once again and, this time, Jericho gets his wish.

Bret Hart is scheduled to face Lex Luger this week in the Nitro main event, however the match may need rescheduled due to the Hitman suffering an "injury". Booker T returns to Nitro to face Scott Hall, and Perry Saturn wants to get some revenge for last week's LWO attack. On Raw the WWF's steel cage hangs above the ring while Vince McMahon promises that someone's going to serve hard time by the end of the evening.

WCW decide to air the DDP vs Goldberg main event from Halloween Havoc due to the pay per view feed getting lost the night before.
