On Raw Triple H faces The Rock inside a steel cage. Mr. McMahon gives Austin a stipulation for his upcoming Fully Loaded first blood match.

The Jersey Triad defend the tag team titles, and Disco Inferno takes on The Cat in a dance competition. On Raw Steve Austin booked himself in a WWF Title match before King of the Ring, and that title match takes place in the Raw main event.

On Nitro Roddy Piper and Ric Flair book themselves in a 2 on 1 match against Buff Bagwell. The show is headlined with a Sting vs Sid Vicious match.

The faction succesfully take out Vince and Rock, but The Undertaker's plan backfires when trying to eliminate Stone Cold. On Nitro Macho Man Randy Savage demands a championship match against Kevin Nash but Roddy Piper refuses to book it. Sting gets some help from an old friend when confronted by the reunited Steiner Brothers.

The WWF has an unopposed night on May 10th 1999 so Raw is War goes live with no competition from WCW. The Corporate Ministry vs Union storyline continues on with most of the show being dedicated to this new rivalry, though this time the WWF Commisioner returns to make a few changes.

Ric Flair has been sent to the Central Florida Mental Institute and Charles Robinson is in control of Nitro. DDP defends his World Championship against Sting, but that's not the only championship match that happens on Nitro. On WWF Raw is War Vince McMahon arranges a deal with The Undertaker. The Chairman wants his daughter back, and 'Taker demands that Steve Austin gets involved in this agreement.
