The Unholy Union beat down Stone Cold Steve Austin this week on Raw, resulting in Austin granting The Undertaker a WWF title shot. On Nitro Sting looks for a tag team partner for the show's main event.

Vince McMahon says his farewells on Raw this week while Triple H takes on Ken Shamrock and The Rock competes in a 2-on-1 match. On Nitro Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash have to find tag team partners for the main event.

Reliving The War Episode 192 - July 12th 1999

Bret Hart returns to WCW to talk about Owen and his own future in pro wrestling. Sid faces Kevin Nash in the main event, and David Flair becomes a champion thanks to Daddy Ric. On Raw Triple H faces The Rock inside a steel cage. Mr. McMahon gives Austin a stipulation for his upcoming Fully Loaded first blood match.

On Nitro this week the legendary David Flair gets a World Championship title oppotunity against Kevin Nash. The Jersey Triad defend the tag team titles, and Disco Inferno takes on The Cat in a dance competition. On Raw Steve Austin booked himself in a WWF Title match before King of the Ring, and that title match takes place in the Raw main event.

Commisioner Shawn Michaels returns to Raw and he books Stone Cold Steve Austin in a match; if Austin wins, no Corporation member can interfere in the Austin vs McMahons ladder match taking place at King of the Ring. On Nitro Roddy Piper and Ric Flair book themselves in a 2 on 1 match against Buff Bagwell. The show is headlined with a Sting vs Sid Vicious match.

Stone Cold Steve Austin makes a few changes around WWF HQ in Stamford this week. On Nitro there's a big 8 man tag; Piper, Flair, DDP & Kanyon vs Bagwell, Benoit, Malenko & Saturn.

The Higher Power finally gets revealed on Raw and Eric Bischoff thinks this is a great opportunity to give fans a spoiler on Nitro. The Big Show wrestles The Undertaker in the Raw main event, and Sting faces Macho Man Randy Savage in the Nitro main event.

The faction succesfully take out Vince and Rock, but The Undertaker's plan backfires when trying to eliminate Stone Cold. On Nitro Macho Man Randy Savage demands a championship match against Kevin Nash but Roddy Piper refuses to book it. Sting gets some help from an old friend when confronted by the reunited Steiner Brothers.

The WWF has an unopposed night on May 10th 1999 so Raw is War goes live with no competition from WCW. The Corporate Ministry vs Union storyline continues on with most of the show being dedicated to this new rivalry, though this time the WWF Commisioner returns to make a few changes.

Ric Flair is back on WCW Nitro and he immediately books himself in a WCW Championship match against DDP (he also books his poor son against Meng). The Corporate Ministry arrive to Raw and Shane decides to turn the show completely upside-down.

Ric Flair has been sent to the Central Florida Mental Institute and Charles Robinson is in control of Nitro. DDP defends his World Championship against Sting, but that's not the only championship match that happens on Nitro. On WWF Raw is War Vince McMahon arranges a deal with The Undertaker. The Chairman wants his daughter back, and 'Taker demands that Steve Austin gets involved in this agreement.

6 days before WWF Backlash; The Rock holds a funeral service for Stone Cold Steve Austin. On WCW Nitro Roddy Piper delivers some bad news to President Ric Flair.

There's a new World Champion in WCW and everyone wants a piece of him. Sting wants a title shot, Kevin Nash wants a title shot, but champion Diamond Dallas Page has some unfinished business with Scotty Steiner. On Raw Shane McMahon ushers in a new era for the Corporation; one that's all about youth and exuberance. The Rock brings Steve Austin's Smoking Skull Belt to the Roody Poo Bridge, and D'lo Brown gets a shot at Bob Holly's Hardcore title.

Days before Spring Stampede 1999 Ric Flair decides to defend his World Heavyweight Championship. Ric initially wanted to face Hulk Hogan, but he ends up defending the belt against 3 other competitors. On Raw is War The Undertaker continues to torment Vince & Stephanie McMahon. The Rock and Triple H team up to face The Big Show in a 2 on 1 main event match.

Stone Cold Steve Austin is the new WWF Champion but he relinquishes the belt this week on Raw (because he wants his Smoking Skull Belt instead), The Rock's in action against Billy Gunn, and X-Pac looks for revenge when he faces his old friend Triple H. WCW arrives to Panama City Beach for another episode of Spring Break Nitro. Ric Flair holds a lottery inside the ring, the winner will receive a world title shot in the Nitro main event. This week the WWF presents the final episode of Raw before WrestleMania XV. The main event features Steve Austin taking on Paul Wight (with Mick Foley as the special ref)

Ric Flair is the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion after a controversial match with Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored. Answers are given on Nitro, and it turns out referee Charles Robinson is in Ric Flair's back pocket. Nash and Hogan team up to take on Flair and Goldberg in the Nitro main event. On WWF Raw is War The Undertaker continues to torment Vince McMahon by visiting his home in Greenwich. The Rock and Paul Wight team up for a main event tag match, and The Outlaws look to capture...

WCW's first hour features NO wrestling matches, the company decided to focus more on Ric Flair's relationship with his son instead of showing in-ring action. On Raw, Mankind vs Stone Cold Steve Austin gets booked by Vince McMahon. The New Age Outlaws reunite to take on Bob Holly & Al Snow, and The Undertaker promises to sacrifice the Big Boss Man.

This week on Raw is War, Vince McMahon books a Kane vs Steve Austin main event. The Undertaker wrestles Mankind (if Mankind wins, he earns the right to be the 2nd referee in the WrestleMania main event) and The Rock defends the WWF Title against Road Dogg. Rumors going around in WCW indicate Ric Flair is going to announce his retirement on Nitro. The nWo Elite continue to mess the Black and White around, and Bret Hart wrestles Chris Benoit in the match of the week.
