an insulting number of ads. Also very repetitive content from one episode to another.

I only wish now the team would go “live” on cases such as this Evelyn Boswell story! That crazy story needs their analytics!! Finally a show that dissects the stories we see and hear in a factual and contextual fashion. The insight into the minds of the criminals is fascinating and...Read full review »

I used to love this show and listen to it every week. Jim Clemente was so cool to me...until he lost his head over the kavanaugh hearings. Jim went off on an incredibly angry tangent about how Brett kavanaugh was innocent, and went on to uncharacteristically victim blame and shame.i know there’s...Read full review »

Really appreciate the way this podcast is conducted - not glorifying or gratuitous in any way - but thoughtful, provoking and insightful. It’s a delight to listen to people who have a genuine interest in understanding what’s happened in order to reduce further violence and keep the public safe....Read full review »

This is my first time listening to this podcast and the adds are crazy. 28 minutes of adds and talking. 5 minutes of podcast material and back to the adds. I’m going to move on.

Then I was hooked. I went back to the first episode. Jim and Laura’s viewpoints and insights backed by extensive (and impressive) experience keeps me coming back.

This show is great minus Lisa the producer. I would love this show without her. She’s not very knowledgeable compare to the other 2 hosts and when she does chime in it’s not articulate. (In one show she couldn’t articulate ‘characteristics’). Lose Lisa and it will be great.

I found this podcast thru another as they were discussing the Epstein crime. I was immediately intrigued by Laura Richards and Jim Clemente and their thoughts on Epstein and his crimes. I added this to my library and have been listening almost obsessively ever since. I even told my podcast buddy...Read full review »

Was enjoying it until it got political and the Constitution started getting used as toilet paper. Really disappointed. There is way too much opinion being touted as fact.

If you title it Aaron Hernandez and we don’t even hear anything about him till minute 21 of a 28 minute podcast it’s bait and switch. The first 20 min is personal conversations and ads. Not at all respectful of your listeners time. If I wanted to hear prattle I’d turn on any news network.

Despite the HUGE uptick in advertisements this show throws as you - including an ad to pay for an ad free experience - which I am sure is bringing in a steady stream of cash. The audio production of this podcast remains some of the worst out there.

Love this show, but Lisa needs to brush up on her manners. Lisa cut Jim off in one episode in a way that was rude and deliberate. In another she did the “yea-yea-yea-yea-yea” cut off to the other host (translation: stop taking, I already know what you’re trying to say) Lisa seems to think what...Read full review »

I loved this podcast when it first came out. Factual opinions and intellectually grand at deconstruction. However, now, I rarely listen to it. Why? This is a great pod...for people who are already well across the cases they discuss. Not especially entertaining for people just looking for an overview. Why are the episodes out of order? I am new to this pod, and started playing but cases aren’t all in order, get a few for a case then an episode of a different case is thrown in. Annoying. So many ads, too, but I like the banter of the hosts. Intelligent discussions.

Found Laura very arrogant and especially demoralising to Lisa at the 36:30 mark “Keep up Lisa”. This comment was unnecessary. Will no longer subscribe as Laura whilst I appreciate your knowledge simply overtalks the others.

I wish I could give more stars, the stars I have given are for the content and Lisa. They are most definitely not for the audio quality. This use to be a great podcast. Now it’s 20 minutes of formal ads or hosts plugging their projects before you get to why you wanted to listen in the first place. I listen to this podcast on my weekly long runs. I love how Jim and Laura break things down from their experience and how Lisa can speak from the mother/common person perspective. Sure the ads are annoying but a lot other podcasts also have ads so it’s not a big deal. Please keep it up!

The hosts’ analysis and insights are fascinating! I don’t want to miss a single episode. But it’s hard to keep track of the episodes. For example, I think the Epstein episodes are missing a couple or I can’t find 12 and 13? If you want to listen sequentially it is frustrating.

I’m just on the 3rd episode, and I’m wondering if Bill Clinton is mentioned as Trump is. Bill Clinton is the one with the framed picture of himself in a dress. I don’t want to keep listening because he yells a lot and not sure if he talks about all politicians, or just the ones he doesn’t like.

I love the analysis by the experts! I started with some later episodes but then went back to Making a Murderer. I was very ready to love this podcast. I literally cannot hear what they are saying 3/4 if the time. Lisa speaks so softly unless it is a commercial and the sound mix is awful. Maybe it gets better in later episodes, but I’m done searching for them.

As much as I share your outrage at the crimes committed, I request that you rein in some of your anger. Yes, I believe your compassion for the victims makes you a great advocate. But please limit your comments so that the others can speak.

Jim feels very strongly about things, and has quit an ego (a lot of me, me, me). But despite discussing truly despicable people serial killers, pedophiles, abusers, rapists, the only person he hates the most is Hillary Clinton.

Most podcasts leave out the psychological profile, and is the part I’m the most interested in understanding. Thank you for filling in the gaps! Please cover the Dateline podcast ‘The Thing About Pam.’ Sounds like a serial killer and they did not even touch on that angle.
