Awesome
I love historical dictator documentaries. I hope you guys do Qaddafi! His family and him are so fascinating and insanely spoiled. I did not give 5 stars yet because I am waiting to see if the episodes are biased. The docs in the US use a lot of propaganda when talking of dictators. They should show the bad and good. Saddam and Qaddafi were super crazy but they did good stuff too, for the people. Like if Che gets positive remarks in docs then Pol Pot should. That’s what i mean.

Great storytelling elements really help bring this series to life. I've only listened to one episode but I can't wait to hear more - it's crazy to learn about some of the stuff that has happened!Read full review »

Interesting but the academics and sources need to be decolonised, with a more diverse scholarship to cite from.

Apparently couldn’t find a single female historian to interview? Very strange 1950s approach to doing history.
