“There was a time when Bill Maher was the best talk show on cable. Unfortunately, that was before he moved to LA. Once on the Left Coast he fell in with a bad crowd and has never been the same since. Even in the early 'great' days of his show his monologues were why God made VCRs. (Can you say fast-forward?) However, his round table discussions were lively, informed and controversial. There were people of all ilk arguing while a truly Libertarian Maher made sense of it all. Now the discussions are so predictable the show isn’t worth watching. Save your disc space.
