“For those looking for very intense, in depth study of apologetics and philosophy, this is a great place to start and search for further resources for study. But to think that Dr. Craig (or anyone, for that matter) could discuss divine command theory or middle knowledge beyond a cursory level in <20 minutes is fooling themselves. This is meant to elicit further study, not to be an exhaustive course on God, Time, philosophy, epistemology, moral duties, biology, cosmology, logic, and doctrine.
If you want to learn more about the nuts and bolts of his scholarly work (it seems that many reviewers were "caught and released," if you will, on the slaughter of Canaanites podcast and those on objective morals), buy some of his books and study it into the ground.
This is a great place to build a book list for further study and gives a nice framework for his scholarly work. But to confuse his more popular level work with his scholarly work (the KCA is a 3-step syllogism and is meted out in 6 minutes during debates - but there are several books published on the argument which obviously cover more ground than his debates or podcasts) would be misguided.
Take the podcast for what it is - helpful overviews of very complex issues. Not exhaustive discussions of every nook and cranny Dr. Craig has researched.
Not understanding an argument after a 20 minute lecture doesn't mean the argument is wrong. Study the tougher stuff, don't settle for popular level stuff if you really struggle with something.
Thanks for your work Dr. Craig! Looking forward to your next podcast!”Read full review »

Not only does Dr. Craig uphold a traditional biblical view, but he uses reason to glorify God. He tackles the everyday questions people have against Christianity and provides...”Read full review »

“I often take time to read all the bad reviews and don't take them as offensive when I actually like the product/podcast/speaker as in this one, but try to understand why that person might be so critical. Sure, we should critique and learn, but I also have to say that very few people even...”Read full review »
