I love pretty much everything Mike Rugnetta puts out in the world. Audio culture is, admittedly, a subject I have very, very little interest in. There have been multiple times that I have seen the title of an episode and thought, "Yeah, so this is going to be the one that is too boring to get through." But every time I end up being really engaged and impressed by the way he has explored the topic and made it relateable in a broader way. It took me awhile to give this podcast a chance because I’m not really normally into uh, sound, if that makes any sense. That felt strange to type? What’s a sound person, somebody who likes noise music? Anyway, it’s super great and I don’t know what I was waiting for.

Next to Welcome to Nightvale, this is my favourite podcast. The running theme of all-things-sound doesn't stop the topics from being interesting and varied.
