Helping me re-discover my favorite albums
This podcast is exactly what I need right now. I've been missing the feeling of being in a room with strangers but sharing a similar experience in enjoying the same album. The stories are funny, engaging, heartbreaking, intimate, informative etc. I feel like it's a way to re-ignite my interest in albums I've kind of grown accustomed to (having them on repeat during quarantine gets kind of boring) by hearing how they play into other people's lives. Love the clips mixed into the stories too, it gives me a taste of the album and makes me want to listen to the whole thing when I'm done the podcast. Favorite episode so far: OK Computer. the first guy really gets it! haha.Read full review »

Record Club reminds me of what it’s like to be in a room with people having a shared experience of live storytelling - which is something I desperately miss! I end the episode with a smile on my face, and immediately want to dive into the album!

This show has all the feels - quirky, fun, heartfelt and emotional stories about classic albums - 3 eps in and I’m hooked. Great narration and context from host Louise Burns too. A great addition to my music pod rotation.
