Having had a family member who never dealt with his problems with alcohol, I can really relate to Paul's podcasts especially where he says how much it stings each time he hears himself admit he's an alcoholic. Just being able to admit and say you're an alcoholic is terribly difficult; then comes the amazing journey. It is amazingly difficult, but with the right support it can be amazingly rewarding as you climb the recovery elevator to a new and fuller life. I have been sober for a few 24 hours. This podcast is doing exactly what works for most of the recovering alcoholics I know. Sharing your story and struggles to those who understand. Also reaches out to those who feel isolated and alone in their struggles. Thanks Paul
