Clay clearly has a firm understanding of the Big Book & recovery. I found his literature first which kinda’ resembles my path in AA. Both the literature and this podcast are excellent forms of his brand of carrying the message. Highly recommend!

Stumbled upon this podcast a year ago and it has changed my life! So grateful for it. My understanding of the Big Books message was so twisted and garbled from what I heard in the fellowship. Clays understanding and application of the 12 steps are so clear and simple and all he does is “What the...Read full review »

I 100% agree with the message here. There are two main themes of the Podcast, 1) AA meets have twisted the message and strayed away form the Big Book. This hurts and has potentially dire and dangerous consequences to the newcomer. 2) The host, member of AA (Not a spokesperson for), IS very...Read full review »

Without the message that I learned from Clay’s podcast…aka SOLUTION-based recovery…I would be dead or at least dead inside. No joke. If you’re confused in recovery or you’re doing what you’re told and none of it is making sense I WAS YOU. There are so many instructions in AA and slogans that you...Read full review »

I started listening a few months ago, and it has changed EVERYTHING. The way I see A.A., the way I live my program, my relationship with my higher power, the way I am of service to others.. everything is just, increasingly more wonderful. This podcast perfectly articulates what the program of...Read full review »

I struggled with finding the most fitting title of my review. Gentle, kind, heartfelt, honest, etc. Then I realized all of those things are comforting, and I suddenly had the title. I’ve experienced every kind of approach to sobriety imaginable over a 30 year period, from aggressive &...Read full review »

Love this podcast...seriously. That said, it’s a bit different from being powerless over alcohol vs will power to give up certain foods...lol. If i could simply commit to not drinking I would and be done with it!

I didn’t know what I was expecting but what I got was some insight and perspective. I also laughed and felt myself just relax. The host made me feel at ease and I felt like I was right there. Love it!
