The *(Relate)able Podcast: Things I Wish I Knew Before Moving Back To The Caribbean
Listen now
Description
Question, why is Fiona so in love with the French Speaking Caribbean islands? Is Sherween back in mommy mode?    This week Chantal, Sherween, and Fiona share their wish lists of ‘things they wish they knew before moving home to the Caribbean’. They discuss the challenges of reconnecting with friends, the bureaucracy, and cultural differences, such as homophobia and misogyny. Despite these challenges, our ladies find joy in their reconnection to the Caribbean - its beauty and community. Fiona is currently in Guadeloupe, enjoying the cultural immersion and local cuisine, Sherween is in St Lucia basking in the glow of having both her daughters visit back to back and Chantal is about to wrap up her first Artist Development programme in Nevis. No Under The Mango Tree segment this week, but don’t forget—we’re heading to Dominica with Les Bohèmes for a wellness workshop from October 27th to November 3rd, and we’ll also be at the WATO festival on November 2nd!
