“Gerry Anderson was a broadcasting leviathan. His sense of humour was: wacky; off-the-wall; zany...and, most of all, totally unique! He had a very interesting life and used that to regale listeners with some very funny tales. He was a well educated man too and few could deliver poetry as could he. Through some of the dark days of Northern Ireland's conflict he was the shining star who gave us a reason for getting up in the morning knowing that he would have us in rapturous laughter during his 90 minute shows. It's a word that is overused but it is no exaggeration to describe Gerry as a genius. He passed away all too soon at the age of 69 and he will be greatly missed but never forgotten.”Read full review »
