The Secretary of the Ilogbo community in the capital of Nigeria's Southwest state of Ogun State, Abeokuta is demanding an end to raids by armed Customs officials on the pretext of impounding contraband rice. Olatunji Fajobi said Customs would break into homes at night, leaving naked women scampering for cover. Fajobi said customs should secure the borders and highways to stop smuggling instead of coming to raid shops in town. He said both the customs and smugglers can be classified as thieves.
