The new sound of radio narratives
This is an outstanding show spotlighting original voices in radio. It is a must-listen for any habitual listener of Public Radio who has grown weary of the Ira Glass standard format of "story - Jon Brion tinkly music - story" radio doc. Re:sound manages to construct a consistent weekly show while wandering all over the globe in search of new audio landscapes. The content can be interesting, but I really think the sound guys and the editors need to back off and let the stories be.
