Deep-cut, right in the nostalgia.
I just wanted to point out that I think the bit with Kyle bursting out of the ground in Cartman’s anti-Semitic fever dream from S21E7 is a reference to the 1997 Warner Bros. animated movie ‘Cats Don’t Dance,’ a movie I remember from my childhood. If you don’t about it know already, it’s about animals trying to make it in Hollywood show-business despite a sadistic and all-too-obvious Shirley Temple stand-in trying to stop them. I love meta and referential humor in my shows, so this especially deep cut was particularly funny to me. The Dumbo and Little mermaid references were also appreciated. Thanks for the content and keep up the great work!

Man, i really love this podcast. They always talk about such clever points, which sound obvious once they tell you about them, but never appear to you when you're watching the episode. Listening to this podcast, and to the one about Rick and Morty, has made tv so much more fun to me. 5 stars.Read full review »
