Enjoyable low key
I subscribed to this on a lark. The podcast is always brief and highly personalized but always entertaining and reflective. I have been listening for over a year and have grown to wonder what is on Del Lowery's mind each week. While many may not model their retirement on this podcast, I enjoy the intimate sharing of priorities, habits and choices. Interesting mix. Update: now it is more than a year of listening and I continue to marvel at the valuable reflections that this podcast delivers. If the numbers of ratings reflects the audience size then this qualifies as a hidden jewel- which is sad. I find the humility of the musings to be grounding in an otherwise overhyped medium. Keep up the good work.Read full review »

Thanks to Del for thoughtfully sharing his experiences about retirement. Not a financial planning podcast. This is more about lifestyle during retirement. I’m a few years away from retiring, but I’m getting a picture of what my life might be like when I make the leap.

I find it easy to relate to the podcast. It appears the concerns of retiree are universal. There are uncountable aspects of retirement life with further numerous choices to be made. It is a clear message for us to examine our lives in search of purpose and meaning.
