A trip down memory (RAM and ROM :) ) lane
A great, nicely produced show by genuine enthusiasts - a bunch of mates reminiscing rather than forced sounding reviews. A lot of it really takes me back, I often have the browser open to look up titles they discuss that I thought I'd forgotten so even though the episodes are often around 2hrs long it takes me longer to listen to the show as I take time out to enjoy bringing back memories :) They enjoy games on a number of platforms and don't have the snobbery occasionally found in the retro gaming scene regarding emulation (as they realize this is the most accessible way for most people to play a large library of retro games) but also great for anyone who enjoyed/s playing Amiga, Atari ST, Spectrum and Amstrad titles (Sega and Nintendo also get a fair amount of attention) so it's really a good show for anyone fond of retro gaming.Read full review »

More reviews of Retro Gaming Discussion Show
A good accompaniment to the Retro Asylum podcast, RGDS covers a wide range of consoles and platforms. I particularly like Paul "The Drisk" Driscoll's episodes as he really does his research and knows his subject prior to recording. Keep it up chaps!Read full review »

Kingy knowledge of zx spectrum games is awesome and has real warmth in his discussions. And Drisk arcade knowledge is top notch.
