This was a struggle to listen to and I only lasted the ‘Creation’ episode and few minutes of the one after. Firstly, even though he must have prepped for the show Herring comes across like he’s making stuff up as he goes along, and not in a good way. I’m aware of Herring’s humour, but this was pretty bad. He needs to stop resorting to 'wanking humour’ when jokes don’t work. An idea would be to make the jokes work, by making them funny. I liked the idea of this podcast but the way Herring delivers it, really comes out flat. If his statement that he put in 20k of his own money to fund it, then well, bad call.Read full review »
