“Full Disclosure: I’m a middle-aged, white, working-class guy who’s natural political inclinations are to the Progressive Left though I don’t consider myself ideologically extreme, just somewhere in the forgotten Centre. Lately, I’ve been de-bubbling myself by consciously reading books - and listening to podcasts - that are by people whose beliefs and views are elsewhere on the political spectrum. This Ricochet podcast is one of the best Centre-Right ones I’ve come across as the hosts tackle the issues with intellectual honesty and humour (and the best segues into their sponsors adverts anywhere on the internet). I don’t always agree with their opinions but it’s very interesting to hear coherent voices from the Right. It’s a bit white-guy slanted - I’d love there to be more female, non-white voices on the show - but you’re guaranteed a thought-provoking hour of conversation.”
