I started listening to this podcast during the 2016 election campaign. If you are interested in conservative political talk that is not inflammatory, this is for you. James Lileks rambles on too much for my taste, but the other two hosts, and the frequent guest hosts, are reliably good.

Love listening to Rob Long about his adventures at Prinston

I think the hosts of this podcast, or rather particularly Robinson and Long, need to come clean about their commitment, or perhaps lack of it, to its continuation. Since the beginning of the year, I think you can count on the fingers of one hand the number of episodes when all three have...Read full review »

What happened to the opening? Did you have a DEI hire to do the editing? And what happened to the snappy segways to sponsor ads? Being the conservative that I am, I want things back the way they were… a time when I could ride my bike all day till dark without worrying about getting kidnapped and...Read full review »

“When in Venice, don’t go here or you’ll get lost” OMG! I know EXACTLY what and where, he’s talking about! I got lost as well in “The Maze” of Venice as well, for about 3 hours without internet and/or GPS! Hahahahahaha The story you told about Venice made me reminisce!

I love this podcast and have not missed an episode since I found it many years ago, but I am going to skip this one because I can't stand Lecretia. Please don't have her on. Thank you.Read full review »

All of you are enjoyable to listen to. All have an individualistic and yet conservative approach to life and culture. I love you all. Rob is funny and I identify most with him and I’m not sure I like myself for that. I, too, am always seeking for the next answer. I’m not going to divinity...Read full review »

Love this podcast. As a Brit, this is a great place to come and visit the USA and catch up with the gossip, the politics and the culture. Lively, often fascinating and always deeply informative. Thank you! PS. Have ordered Glenn Loury’s book but here in the UK we have to wait til July for it to...Read full review »

As a long-distance observer of US politics, there seem to me two truths in 2024: first, Trump is uniquely unfit to hold the high office of president; and second, the progressive left, as embodied by the Democratic Party, is wrong about everything. To paraphrase Carl Trueman, the choice in...Read full review »

There is nothing quite like this. Three main hosts who don’t always appear together, great guests and deep discussions. Pure genius.

Hosts do a wonderful job presenting a sane conservative perspective that isn’t simple pandering to Dear Leader. Americans of all political perspectives would be wise to listen to this podcast for a rigorous and thorough conservative perspective and analysis.

I have to say, I was hoping for some credible and actually objective commentary on conservative and libertarian viewpoints, but unfortunately these folks are expert primarily at creating strawmen which they then use to attack “liberals” or “progressives.” While the discussions do contain cogent...Read full review »

Why the exasperated sighs before asking your guest a question? Why leave sentences unfinished to start another one? Why do you have to use the word "sclerotic" in every episode? Still, I like it.Read full review »

Another Aussie here with a shout-out to this trio. I’ve followed James for 25 years now but only recently come across Ricochet. I enjoy Peter’s take on the world through Uncommon Knowledge. This is one of my must-listen podcasts as it manages to be concise and insightful at the same time.

Roberta Long was infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome and it became particularly acute during the run up to the 2020 election. As a result this once great podcast was ruined. Lileks also has his moments in trying to defend the leftist rag he works for in Minneapolis. However, there are signs...Read full review »

The hosts are always worth hearing, even if they are chatting about their vacations or such things between topics. The guests are invariably impressive and I always learn something. At the end of an episode, I feel more optimistic about our country.

Stunning podcast, I listen every Saturday morning from Melbourne Australia, three of the most sensible minds anyone is likely to hear speak on U.S. political and cultural matters. Long time listener, first time reviewer. I’m an original listener (if not subscriber, *cough*), since 2010 while living outside of the U.S. This podcast is collectively the adult in the room of modern podcasting. You speak to Gen X like few can. Thank you for all you do!

I agree with the Ricochet team that DeSantis’s tone on Ukraine is wrongheaded. On the other hand, In a review of Polifact commentary, looking at DeSantis 2014 to 2022, they don’t see a lot of room between his position on Russia with respect to the Crimean takeover, and the comments to Tucker....Read full review »

I love these guys. Humorous and well informed. And they get excellent guests. And they don’t agree with each other all the time. They prove that conservatives can be intelligent, realistically optimistic, and hilarious.

James Lileks makes this show for me. He’s intelligent, insightful, willing to challenge guests with pointed questions, and makes me laugh in the process.
