Babble and Bombs - duds
The topics are interesting, but would be easier to follow if this couple didn't have side stories, dramatic interlude music, and jokes. Some of the jokes are extremely hurtful to the people, ethnicities, or choices of the characters in their recount of the history. The swearing feels very forced. In the beginning of the show it was minor, not acceptable but minor. Now, I think the confidence has increased and so has the swearing. it's a wierd mix of "I'm trying to be cool and liked" and "I'm confident this is what I should sound like but not in real life". it's awkward, andI can't listen with my kids, so I can't listen anymore because of so many other family friendly and better shows out there.Read full review »

I’ve loved binge-listening to this podcast the last two weeks. The hosts are witty, quick, and thoroughly entertaining. I love the unique lens on history through various romances. Diana is particularly funny and I appreciate her humor and take on the various subjects they explore. Keep it up!
