Explains complex situations in easy to understand way
I have enjoyed all the episodes I’ve listened to thus far. The latest episode on El Salvador was fascinating- I knew very little about the historical context but it explained it clearly. I was particularly interested to learn how US policies of mass deportation have contributed to El Salvador’s gang problems. It told a sympathetic story that did not gloss over the horrors of the human rights violations, but avoided being sensationalist.
