Moth-eaten tales, badly told
A few Risk! narrators also tell Moth stories, but what I've heard on Risk! doesn't measure up to The Moth. I gave up after hearing Andrea Rosen, who incredibly interjected "like" into a 9-minute story 102 times. (That's not hyperbole; she used "like" an average of every 5 seconds.) The story (about a blind date) and the way it was told were more suited to a valley girl talking to her junior high school friends.Read full review »
