Risky Bias
As a longtime infosec enthusiast and freshman cyber security professional, I’ve been seeking good informative podcasts covering breaking news and tech in the industry. Risky Business was a breath of fresh air from the usual schlocky, over-dramatic true-crime style format so many cyber security podcasts seem to take. The first sour notes however were Adam’s braindead takes on the impact of Wikileaks and clear biases toward Assange, but I could just skip forward whenever that topic came up. Although I rarely found Adam’s opinions insightful an any given topic or his input particularly informative, I respected Patrick’s level-headedness and focus on the known information when discussing topics. Nevertheless, Patrick’s takes on #764 regarding the Mossad pager attacks are unforgivable. I don’t need to hear your opinion whether an act of state terror / mass violence is “a good thing”. I’m appalled. Applauding this supply chain attack that maimed thousands is inexcusable. Look elsewhere for informative deep dives on infosec topics, this pod is just two particular infosec guys shooting the breeze with each other over the week’s headlines.

I was interesting in hearing about smashing the stack, not bashing America.

Been listening religiously for 3 years. I miss the music at the end of the interview but the new format of the show is balanced.
