Brilliant, interesting and a lot of fun
I happened upon this by pure chance when I saw a chat with Guy on Scott’s Bass Lessons and he dropped in a shameless plug. (Thanks Guy, you’re a leg-end). I’ve learned so much and laughed a hell of a lot and I’m only about 40 episodes in. Can you get David Coverdale and Joe Elliot at the same time please, that would be a riot. It’s probably a coincidence that so many bass players turn up but as a bassist myself (stop yawning at the back) it makes it more interesting. There are a lot of people and music that I’ve never paid much attention to and this is my chance to correct that. If I find someone interesting, I give their stuff a go, regardless of genre. Thanks Gary and Guy, especially Guy for putting me on to this and Hey! he’s a bass player too in case you missed him mention once. Keep it up lads :)

More reviews of Rockonteurs with Gary Kemp and Guy Pratt
DC displayed the right amount of camp, self-importance, storytelling and name dropping that everyone needs from a rock god. He didn’t give Gary a chance to interrupt him, which makes a nice change. This pod gets better and better. Mr Gilmour can’t be too far away from an appearance? Thanks gents.

Loving these podcasts, funny and so interesting how so many of your lives were intertwined down the years. Please get Simon Le Bon or Phil Oakey on at some point for a chat!!
