THE Nerd podcast
I have to drive about 45 minutes every morning and 45 minutes on the way back home. That's a lot of time sitting by myself listening to talk shows on the radio which aren't bad, but, they just aren't at the entertainment quality of this podcast for me personally. This podcast has made those morning drives not so lonely as I highly enjoy the show and can listen to the same episode more than once. A few of the things that sets this podcast apart from the rest is A. These guys genuinely love Star Wars and many other things in nerd culture. This really makes an impact on the podcast. They might not know EVERYTHING there is to know about Star Wars, and they don't act like it, but they are definitely die hard fans just like the rest of us. B. Every episode that I have heard has at least one beer review. Even if you don't drink, this review segment would honestly still interest you, so just because you don't drink don't let this turn you off to the podcast! These are very interesting and can often include stories and pretty good conversation! C. Perhaps the most important aspect of this podcast is that they take time to connect with fans! These guys are VERY active on social media, go to comic con, attend premieres, shoutout their followers and just all around try and stay connected with their fan base. All of these things and many more really come together to make an awesome show, these just stand out as some of the most important aspects. Other entries would include trailer breakdowns, Trivia segments and so much more. Keep up the good work guys!Read full review »

Far deeper conversation than I expected. Love this podcast! Found myself talking back with my own opinions :)

Not the conventional formula for a conversation based podcast. It starts with beers being opened, then we get a very laid back earthly atmosphere with a lot of humorous banter between the hosts. Is that background music during the conversation? Honest use of profanity as if the audience is a...Read full review »
