“This has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts. I really love the way that John breaks down the story, and stays faithful to the original retelling. I have always wanted to read TROTK, but its length and sheer number of characters was very intimidating. This is a great way to learn about a vital part of Chinese history and culture. I also love John's (infrequent) editorializing. He always says what I'm thinking! I laughed, I cheered, 10/10 would listen to again.
