“I'm an avid podcast and history fan, and have been looking for a good audiobook of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms after reading Ravages of Time, a comic based on it (with signifcant alterations). However, this podcast exceeded my expectation for a simple reading of the story, as the creator imbues it with his sense of humor and reflection. While the creator cites History of Rome podcast as his motivation, I feel that he has exceeded it in terms of the storytelling and humor. I have been binge-listening since I downloaded yesterday, and I will look forward to every upcoming episode!
Highly recommended podcast. While the author does a great job at explaining the historical background for some events, I also recommend listening to the "History of China" podcast for those who are interested. Again, thank you very much for this podcast!”Read full review »
