The best gardening podcast around
I download this one as soon as it's available. Unlike many gardening based programmes, this doesn't seek to sell you stuff, or talk about 'the industry'. It's much more thoughtful than that, with a green/organic/environmentalist angle. The latest episode featured garden designer Benjamin Vogt, and the discussion linked the importance of community, white privilege, human privilege and climate change all back to gardening and made it all relevant. Brilliant stuff. This is so good I'm now going back to the beginning to binge listen to them all. I really enjoy the down to earth (pardon the pun) approach which is a refreshing antidote to some of the highbrow podcasts ‘out there’. Dr Ian Bedford’s contributions are excellent and informative.
