Discovered recently 4/5
I would have given 5/5 after having listened to a couple of great interviews (Joanna Lumley is a legend) except in the most recent talk with Joe Wicks I found Giles to be incredibly patronising (“oh well done you”) and he seemed fixated by Joe’s childhood, treating him like an interesting specimen and proffering unasked for psychological assessments. Made me feel uncomfortable for Joe. He’s better with “posh” folks of his era I think…

More reviews of Rosebud with Gyles Brandreth
This makes beautiful listening. Have listened to both the episodes and found them both so interesting, funny and taken back to my memories.

I am really enjoying these podcasts, Gyles is such an erudite and respectful interviewer, I really think his guests trust him and love him as much as we do. More please. I’m sure he has a wonderful little black book of contacts to draw upon 😜
