The earlier episodes were more varied
I loved this podcast in the beginning, and felt that the subjects were more varied. Last year and more recently, it seemed to be mostly about the Ukraine/Russia which I’m not interested in. I know that is an area of the world that has a lot of action currently ,however the world is a very large invest place. Many interesting things are happening at once everywhere. I wish they would continue to diversify the stories to include more from all over the world, and not fixate on one particular area. I stopped listening when every other episode was about Russia or the Ukraine. But if you’re invested in that scene, go for it. Otherwise, curate your listening experience with the earlier episodes.

I loved the first episode for covering a lesser known topic (in America) from a well known country. It's refreshing to hear about Brazil beyond the Olympics, the BRICS, or corruption scandals. I can't wait to hear more!Read full review »

This podcast is fantastic, it's a great break from the "if it bleeds, it leads" focus on international news. Let's be curious about the world and see things from the perspective of other people. Thanks NPRRead full review »

Similar to This American Life in how it describes a very interesting yet untold story, except it's in a foreign setting and more directly related to social issues. Interested to see what else is in store.Read full review »
