Meditation can be used for many reasons and purposes. Healing, decompressing from the stress of life, manifestation, spiritual connection and a variety of other motivations.
Whether you call it joy, laughter or loving kindness, letting yourself let go of your resistance of letting yourself feel silly and bring your inner child to the surface to take the seriousness of life down a click or ten. Allowing yourself to shift your energy to feel the survival mode release and really enjoy living without restriction. Laughing meditation is by far the most enjoyable I have ever done. I hope this inspires you to let yourself enjoy it also.
