“First time listener, really enjoyed this episode, it’s not a film I’ve ever wanted to watch but like the hosts say it is referenced in lots of other tv and film, especially the ‘what have you done to his eyes’ bit I recognise that from lots of places I never understood it until now!
I think as an English person it’s interesting to get the social comment to American films, e.g. the discussions about what would stop someone renting a place in New York that seemed too good to be true as it’s so expensive to live there, and the bits about not talking to your neighbours etc it gives insight into character motives that I would have to just ‘go with’ if I’m watching a foreign language film. Thank you I’ll keep listening as I am a horror wimp.”

“As someone who is always reading the Wikipedia pages of scary movies this podcast is perfect for me. Halle and Alison are always laugh out loud funny as they break down scary movies and give advice to the movie characters about the fatal mistakes that have been made. Must listen!”
