This podcast is so fine.
I love this show. With these lighly produced longer-form interviews of seemingly ordinary people, Erica Heilman regularly uncovers the common and startling beauty of our human companions. Sometimes it feels like you're just out for a drive with her, but she's seems like the kind of quiet, funny person you want to be your friend, and you're happy to be along to talk with her friends. And sometimes the interviews are transcedent and perfect. Five stars!Read full review »

Erica finds the most interesting people and interviews them expertly. Her episodes aren't flashy, but the human pace of them is refreshing. I never really know what the episode will be about, but I always finish with more curiosity and more empathy.Read full review »

Erica Heilman has a vision and a voice the world needs to hear. With subtlety and care, she taps into the universal by exploring and honoring the local. Small stories that take us to the big picture.
