12: If you want a dose of inspiration, allow All-American Courtney Clayton to be your guide
Description
Injuries and setbacks are not only an inevitable part of running but a necessary step on the footpath to success. Over the past few years Courtney Clayton has certainly experienced both injuries and setbacks within her own running. In the wake of her biggest setback, Courtney was able to overcome a ruptured plantar fascia to become a two time All-American for Vanderbilt University in the 2017 spring season. In this interview Courtney will tell her remarkable story on the road to becoming an All-American, what she personally believes runners must do to stay healthy, and will fill us in on who her favorite band is.
In this episode Mark and I catch up and address our diet, Mark’s Coaching journey, and the beauty of compound interest. This is a new type of bonus episode that Mark and I plan to release once a month.
