“My grandparents lived near an occult shop called the Brass Unicorn. As a teen I used to sneak off to visit the shop. The smell of incense, the bizarre ritual devices, herbs and grimoires took me to another world. The fellow running the store was a scary looking old hippie with long scraggily beard and hair (a bit like Alan Moore) but he was a nice enough shopkeep. Thirty years on it's interesting how much occult philosophy has become mainstream. Rune Soup delves into a lot of these esoteric concepts to help make sense of them.
