Worth listening to on repeat—so much useful content.
I’ve been running for 16 years (started at age 50) and thought I was done improving. I started listening to this podcast this summer and have been going through previous episodes (and reviewing some of them numerous times). Putting Chris’s wisdom into practice helped me dust off the rust and get back into racing this summer and fall. His race planning episode set me up to have two consecutive half marathon prs for the season. The mental rehearsal was extremely useful and psychologically sound. Take his advice in training to “run slow to go fast.” Lose the ego. Take time to make incremental changes. And build a big aerobic engine. And the strides. Do the strides 2x a week. I’ve learned SO much. Thank you, Chris. It was also great to meet you in Atlanta at the running with Kara Goucher event at the Marathon Trials in 2020. Clean Sport advocates know how to train smart and reach our long term potential. I’m all ears at this point!

Started as a casual listener and runner, ended up running the Boston Marathon because of this podcast, and meeting Chris in person after. Highly recommend. Hugo, The Netherlands

Some of the best episodes are when you have differing opinions but respect each other’s just the same. Love you guys!
