“I've listened to the first four episodes of the Season 3 Drag Race AfterBuzz podcasts and I have mixed feelings about it.
Right away from the beginning Kenny Harrison and his co-hosts admit, that yeah, they're starting the podcast mid-season, but would rather start it this season than not. The group hosts other podcasts and it's clear that this L.A. crowd knows each other pretty well as they often get side-tracked in personal conversations, and 'tucking' seems to be at the top of that list. At times, this is hysterically funny but sometimes alienates the listener.
Kenny's co-hosts do a good job of correcting his lapse in memory about certain details (such as in the RuPaula-Palooza episode when he forgot that Manila chose the order in which the queens got to choose their music, but Kenny said Manila chose the first person after himself and then passed the choice on to the next racer). This may seem minor, but it happens at least twice and episode and makes me wonder if the host is actually watching the show or not.
Overall, it's a free podcast and very entertaining. If you're a huge fan of the show (like me) it's worth a listen.
