Want to love it
I've only listened to a few episodes and will try a few more, but so far I'm not loving it as much as I want to. The first problem I have with it is that the panel of commentators seem to range from anywhere between six to ten people. It's too many, they tend to talk over one another and get incredibly side tracked. I'm listening because I love the show and I'm curious to hear what other people think about it during my commute, but this is really just forty-five minutes of people yelling into a microphone. Also, the commentators seem to have no idea what's happening on the show. Half of the broadcast is them saying things like, "Well, what about Latrice?" followed by, "Which one is that?" Or, "Which one is the short one?" Or, "The one with the bad wig who thinks she's Carrie Bradshaw." And then the moderator asks them if they've seen the Untucked (behind the scenes) episodes… to which no one has, rendering them unable to discuss it. Um… I'm sorry, but how do you get to be a contributor on a show in which you know absolutely nothing about?? I hope these people aren't getting paid to be there, because it's a little ridiculous. The commercials brand them as industry insiders but no one seems to be that concerned with the topic. I hate to be so catty about it, but I really am going to give it a few more episodes and see if things get any better. I think Rupaul's Drag Race is one of the freshest, most original shows on television and I'd love to hear an actual discussion about the merits and lack thereof of the contestants and the show itself. Slim down the amount of people yelling over one another, do your homework and bring something worth downloading to the table!Read full review »

I've been listening for so long and just want to make sure you know how much I love you! When I first started watching drag race in 2009 I felt so alone because no one around me watched the show. Then I found you, I think around season 3 and it changed everything. It was so nice to hear your...Read full review »

I don't have any friends who watch Drag Race and my work hours are too weird to watch at the bar here in Alaska. This show really helps fill that gap and allows me to listen to a fun discussion of each weeks episode. This podcast has good discussions of each episode without being overly...Read full review »

I hope they're doing this for free because this show is very amateur league. 1. Host seems uninterested I what his cohosts have to say. Keeps interrupting them and switches topic when they talk. 2. The Hosts seem to lack knowledge about the topic. They forget the names of the contestants....Read full review »
