“The best history podcast I've run into. Mark Schauss is well spoken, has a good voice for delivery, and manages to tell this (good chunks of which I knew little about in the first place) story well. You feel as if he's giving a private talk to you about the stream of Russian history, with side comments on how he interprets key events - the why of what happened!
It's a survey of the topic, and according to his choice of events. If you're looking for deep and in-depth detail, in absolute chronological order, you may be frustrated.
