“I'm just learning about sailing and plan to do a bareboat charter someday, and I wanted to learn more about sailing in general via audio. Although a lot of it is over my head, it's helpful to hear the terminology and hear about things that have come up during Franz' travels around the Mediterranean. Two of the episodes that I've heard so far are interviews with charter managers (one in the BVI, and one from Greece). It would be good to hear more basic information about sailing in general, safety guidelines, Do's and don'ts, and any kind of training for newcomers to the sport. Anything that would help listeners prepare for ASA classes would be great additional information to include. There doesn't seem to be any other podcast on the whole topic, so Franz has a monopoly.
