the variety of content is amazing
The salty nerds are not your atypical movie reviewers, far from it. The quartet come from a variety of differing back grounds to combine and create a cacophony of chaos, structured chaos. Matt Kadish, an established author, grounds the show and keeps it on track with his knowledge of writing, structure, pacing, characterization and a lot of trivia, which can sometimes be wrong. Alex, the salty nerd himself, just wants to be entertained. Alex finds the time between, a day job, family and pushing the salty nerd podcast forward, to watch a movie, tv show and interact with people on social media, discussing all facets of pop culture. Jude is the nerdgirl, hardcore nerd. If you are going to make something she loves, into a movie or tv show, you had best get the characters right, or you will feel the wrath. Jude does not hold back with her opinion, going as far as to just stop watching a show if she has deemed it as garbage. Then there is Matt Vader, the pop culture veteran, he has seen it all and watched it all. Matt is my favorite of the group. He has the best one liners, and injects the most humor into the show for me. But, they don't just review movies and tv shows. They interview actors, show runners, and have guest reviewers on. Matt Kadish also has guest authors on, to discuss writing, and bad writing. The variety of content the salty nerds put out is amazing, and well worth investing some of your time to check out.Read full review »
