Too much Cariad
I live this podcast but wish Cariad would let people, particularly the invited author speak more. I get the enthusiasm and insights but she really dominates the conversation and I wouldn’t just enjoy hearing more from the actual author. David Nicholls couldn’t get a word in edgeways. It’s really making me reluctant to listen to future episodes as it’s made me stop listening to the full version of a few episodes now. Sorry, I really like her but her contribution is disproportionate and therefore grating.

More reviews of Sara & Cariad's Weirdos Book Club
Lovely to listen to the two very funny and insightful women discuss some unusual books. I’ve read a few following their recommendations and reminds me of being back at college in the 90s studying literature

I’ll start listening again once Cariad stops interrupting and talking over the top of everyone. It’s just plain rude.

Love the concept! Sara is brilliant and for the most part so is Cariad, only problem is the latter relates everything back to grief. I mean… everything. I’ve experienced grief and actually listen to her grief podcast (which is great!) but I’m here for a book club, not a grief club.
