Well I may not be able to relate with a Butchers old fella, but growing up in Glen Waverley from 1976 until my mid 20’s was a joy and all the reminiscing takes me to those exact spots you speak of and also to my own fav places and moments. Back Row at Bay 38 at Waverley Park was one of those spots.
