Meh...
The first two episodes are on the same case, and they don't actually dicuss the scam very much. It is a story of a disfunctional marriage that leads to murder. No first hand reporting, it's a story-telling podcast written from older articles. Same format at Crime Junkie: one person reads a script written by someone else on staff and then asks the co-host to read supporting documents or to react to what's going on.Read full review »

I have mixed feelings about this podcast. I like the hosts and the story is interesting, BUT it is not accurate when comparing to the title. The narrators are VERY scripted. It’s listening to a fake natural conversation with “insert laugher here” marks. If they could change it to just an actual conversation it would be 5 stars.
