Top notch content and local too!
The early technical problems were distracting, but the show is now close to glitch free. I always look forward to the latest episode appearing on iTunes. I am most impressed by the depth with which they tackle their main topic and Des' ability to challenge her interviewees while keeping the tone civil. The episodes on the Gov't of Alberta's parental rights bill and nuclear power are paticular highlights. I was so jealous of the Minnesota Atheists, etc. podcasts until I found this. Here's hoping that this excellent locally produced podcast helps build a stronger skeptical community in Alberta while staying relevent to skeptics everywhere!Read full review »

This is by far my favorite science podcast. Very good interviews that ask insightful questions. Does a great job of making the topics understandable without over-simplifying.

Recorded as a live call-in radio talk show, it's an enjoyable, nostalgic reminder that the difference between podcasts and live radio is the difference between TV and live theatre. Thoughtful, compassionate, and fun.Read full review »
