there is still hope for the world
I sat down one evening, or perhaps it was afternoon, maybe that transition between afternoon and evening, but it doesn't really matter, so i sat down one time a few weeks ago and began to look for a new podcast to occupy my time with. When i stumbled upon "science......sort of" i was amazed. To put it in other words i was stunned. And in even more words, i was enthralled in the wonderfully soothing male voices that narrate the show. the show discusses many topics, which makes that hour go by fast. they often ramble on with the most interesting conversations and you always hear from all three members equally. i enjoy listening to this podcast and can't wait for more. One of the best parts of the show is when they discuss what they are drinking. i like to have fun with this and try to drink the same thing they are drinking, makes me feel more connected. one time i thought i would try to guess what they were going to be drinking and decided to have my drink ready. i had multiple options, various types of beers (with caps popped, so as to be able to take a sip at the same time they said what beer it was), gin and tonics, whisky and gingers, and i think that was it. but that time they were'nt drinking any of my beers or hard drinks, so i drank them anyways.....don't remeber what they talked about that was episode 2 and when i sobered up it was episode 5, so all in all Science....Sort of is a great show. Listen to it or Die, i mean you'll still in some point of your life, so i'm just stating the facts.Read full review »

I listen to a couple of these sort of podcasts where people talk about science, or they are making fun of science to be funny. But these guys are amazing, I am actually learning scientific stuff because not only are they brilliant, but they have legitimate science-y guests. And they are funny and...Read full review »

I decided to try this podcast out a few weeks ago on a whim. I'm very glad I did. The Paleopals are fun, and have a good blend of the "science" and the "sort of." I've enjoyed the occasional guest interviews and the fun musical transitions. Keep it up, guys!Read full review »
